APTO 122

Audiovisual creation between art, territory and memory

Audiovisual production and cultural innovation from Navarre

APTO 122 is an audiovisual creation space that articulates art, memory, and territory. It originated in Brazil and consolidated in Europe, developing a practice that transcends geographical borders and artistic languages. Currently operating from Artajona, in the Central Zone of Navarre, it combines auteur production, community laboratory, and audiovisual training.

Animating memory: audiovisual practices between creation and community

Innova Sin Marcas-10

Our work lies at the intersection of handcrafted animation, creative documentary, and participatory cultural processes. We understand audiovisual media as an aesthetic and political tool capable of activating memory, generating critical thinking, and strengthening community ties.

Two dimensions in dialogue

On the one hand, we develop our own animation and documentary projects with an artistic and international focus. These works solidify our identity, open co-production networks, and position us within cultural and film circuits.

On the other hand, we promote ARTAJONA LAB, a community-based audiovisual creation and literacy lab that works with schools, associations, institutions, and the general public. This space allows us to bring professional expertise to the local area, decentralizing access to audiovisual production and strengthening the rural cultural fabric.

Our Vision

We believe in animation as a poetic and political language. We believe in documentary as living memory. We believe that audiovisual education is a form of collective empowerment and that culture, when produced locally, generates real transformation.
