Radio Zokoto

Community voice from Artajona

Participatory communication and territory

Radio Zokoto is the community radio station launched by ARTAJONA LAB. It was created as a space for citizen participation where the spoken word becomes a tool for connection, learning, and social cohesion.

Based in Artajona, the radio station connects schools, associations, and local groups, offering an accessible channel to express ideas, share experiences, and strengthen the identity of the region.

Formation and sound memory

Radio also serves as an educational platform. We support groups in creating programs, interviews, and audio segments that are later broadcast publicly.

This process combines media literacy, creativity, and responsible communication. Furthermore, it allows for the recording of local stories and memories, contributing to the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
